smoking~

the uncles and aunties were, as usual, chatting anything they come across with and all of sudden, 'smoking' pop-out..apparently my dad and another uncle who is smoker succeed in their attempt to stop smoking,...one and only attempt..bravo!!

then they move to talks about girls smoking...everyone got heated up especially mom..she said girls who smokes look like those working at bar..and i got defensive.im not a smoker but i don;t agree that she thinks so..because she said the same thing about tattoo..totally biased and out-dated..i need to brain-wash her for my tattoo's sake...

it is not that i agrees to people smoking, nor i disagree..im mutual, on the fence..whatever you do with your life, that's your problem, not mine..as long as you don;t come making noise to me about it then im fine...everyone is adult enough to weight the pro and cons of it..im protesting my mom just because she is plain out-dated in her thinking...to me it was all about socializing..whether you like it or not, the reality out there is more fierce than what i;ve been brought up to..smoking, drinking and flirting is another stepping stone and i shall said, a good way to establish connection to higher status in community..

smokers all admits that they do feels there is connection between them and another smoker...maybe a common interest?? idk...but i seen it with my own eyes how a smoker can just start a conversation and works his way to become almost as close as friend with that person..that stranger was an old man and he is just guy...yet they were like old friends chatting about something that i don't understand..cigarettes, apparently.. who said age creates gap?? obviously a stick of things settle it all...

but of course, imagine the smell that lingers around you after smoking..i am not a smoker and yet the smell that sticks to my hair enough to make me want to wash my hair all the time..cough..that;s the worst. it won't stop once you get cough..yellow nail, teeth and black gum..die faster..lung cancer, throat cancer. i don;t think i have to repeat all the nagging that a smoker heard all the time..definitely not a good things to do before kissing is to smoke..the taste of it, yuks and ewws..

like i said just now..im mutual..my girl-friend can smoke if they want and i don;t think there is anything to complaint to me about them smoking so i don;t really bother..but if you ask me do i smoke, the answer is no..despite my craze for zippo lighter..if you ask me will i ever started smoking, i will say i will try hard not to..i cant answer no thought i was once firm stating that i will never..i dare to said i was tempted to do so, out of fun, out of boredom, out of curiosity but i will always remember that someone told me once that he does not want me to smoke..and i will hold on to my words..

ps: i want to get a tattoo..but i cant..not yet..
