no biggie la seriously.

i actually got this thing from my housemate, so we were like "should we? should we?"

actually i heard this before from friend that you kinda like rotate-and-meet guys for a few minutes stuff like that.

but then curiosity got better of me. and honestly i just wanna try it out to know whats it like.

so fast-forward, payment made (for both me and my housie, hx), waiting for confirmation, the pre-day blues wondering what dress should i wear.

girls gotta impress k'. but i dont want to look over-intimidating too.

anyway on the day we were supposed to be there at 7pm. being the ever 'early' person we were there 640-ish but there is nobody *멘붕 mental breakdown*

so we went walking around til we got the guts to the venue

coz it is a freaking open venue, with people walking and looking around

hey, i refused to be animal in the zoo k'

anyway, they give some talk on dating and whatsnot, the event started.

 before that let me brief you through the whole process.

only the guy rotated among themselves and the girls stay put.

the girls get to meet all the boys.

then each participants got a piece of paper where you supposed to rate the opposite gender

and the organizer will come up with the top 3 couple, in no particular order.

 

and yeah, i won one of the couple

with a guy that i argued with the moment he sat

like he is seriously being annoying to me and im just got comfortable to forgo my manners.

even right to the moment on the stage and after got down the stage,

we still arguing.

funny encounter:

1. "so you gonna be in malaysia for long right?" - ermm, unless i got married to non-malaysian

2. "give me 3 of your best qualities?" - im not in job interview am i?

3. "i have gotten so drunk in this year alone" - yeah,i know, you kinda reeks in alcohol now

actually there is more but i cant remember now thats some time passed.

notes to organizer:

1. catch your timing nicely please. it supposed to end at 10pm but ended up only ended at 11ish

2. please ask the mc not to talk during the 5min. i want to be able to listen to my boy talking

3. how can you asked me not to talk to the poor fellow in front of me during the harp performance? i know it is rude to the performer but i think it is even rude if i didnt talk to him at all for that whatsfeellike 20min.

4. A BETTER GIFT TO THE BOY PLEASE. the girl got jewelry and boy only get a bean bag. seriously?

tips to participant (especially female):

actually nothing to be shy/embarrassed but then there is still this taboo in msia about this. yeah i understand. i flipped out too when my pic appeared somewhere. but then just enjoy and have fun and meet people. we met good people. of course that comes with a couple weirdos too. actually if its your first time it will be a bit nervous but after awhile it would be fine.

so if you got a chance to join, should go for it, only if you are SINGLE..
