缘份 or known as yuan fen is is a buddhist-related chinese concept that means the predetermined principle that dictates a person's relationships and encounters, usually positive, such as the affinity among friends or lovers (* as quoted from wikipedia). to me, it is something more than destiny or fate that brings 2 people (in most case) to crossed path someway somehow. imagine this one person is from the north and the other person is from south are brought together under one circumstance, we called that yuan fen. in such circumstances, you are fated to be together but not forever thus we called that 有緣無份 or you yuan wu fen which referred to have fate without destiny. it takes both to be in a relationship in terms of lovers.
i always have been a firm believer of karma and of course yuan fen.because magically it happens in my life so often, uniquely and strangely and can only be explained with such concept. i was planning to go taiwan during my study week and bro helped to make it happen as when he said he wanted to go parents paid for the trip and the accommodation as well..*talk about the benefits of being the only son* one day me and friends were hanging out after the paper, and they asked me where am i going for trip and i said taiwan. they were going there as well..all of us has the weird look already once both of us revealed that we are departing and coming back on the same day.but we couldnt be sure of the which flight because hers wasnt booked by her. but that day as i was chatting with her on msn, both of left speechless because both her flight is exactly the same with mine. we never talk about it nor discuss it yet...so this is what we called yuan.
another example.i havent been seeing him for a very long time.we used to bumped into each other.but not for this few semester til that day when im celebrating me leaving melaka.i just have to bump into him.i guess that how we said our goodbye.for once and forever.
p.s im gonna end here.no mood to type all of the sudden..i know it is weird end here..BUT im not PMS-ing ok.just no mood because i wanted to finish my drama.

I was searching for this phrase "you yuan wu fen" and ended up on your blog. Fen means destiny or ming4 yun4? Sorry, a bit confused.
